# Corrections, 2 November 2026 (Right Deal Index, October 2026)

The first release and report (22 October 2026) are replaced by this one. What changed and why:

1. **Three questions excluded for everyone** (owner decisions, 2 Nov), because the cheapest offer on the test day can't be verified:
   - fr-tablet (Lyon): Lebara's 50 Go at EUR 5.99 was in Lebara's page data on 27 Oct, wasn't seen in the owner's check on
22 Oct, and was no longer on sale on 2 Nov.
   - us-mexico-amount (El Paso): the reference (Mint plus separately bought Mexico passes) can't be read on Mint's site
(bot-blocked) and is a two-product combination the key otherwise rejects.
   - us-verizon-unlimited (rural Vermont): a Visible offer ("$75 for the first 6 months", "Offer Ends 10/29") seen only in an
assistant's search snippet may have been the cheapest; it ended before we could read it on Visible's own page.
Veritaset's own answer here (US Mobile Unlimited Starter) doesn't fit (see 3).
2. **es-light key (Madrid):** simyo "Móvil 75GB + Ilimitadas" at EUR 3 is an extra line that needs a main simyo contract and
fibre (simyo.es, 2 Nov), not a plan on its own. New reference: MásMóvil Más 15 GB, EUR 58.80 a year. Grok's and Gemini's
first answers become right; Veritaset's answer (the simyo line) becomes a miss.
3. **US Mobile Unlimited Starter:** 70 GB of full-speed data on its Verizon network (usmobile.com/plans, "See details", 2 Nov).
It no longer fits a "truly unlimited on Verizon" need.
4. **Veritaset's own score** is now its answer on the test day (veritaset_answers.json), scored on the same key: 19 of 21.
The first report said 22 of 24, from picks made after the test.
5. **Follow-up test redone** (followup_PROTOCOL.md): all three apps, every wrong answer, one neutral prompt, scored by code.
It replaces the 22 Oct ChatGPT-only follow-up, whose prompt was leading and, for Lyon, wrong.
6. **Resulting rates:** ChatGPT 8 of 19 (was 36%), Grok 10 of 21 (was 38%), Gemini 7 of 20 (was 30%).
7. Release additions: failure step per wrong answer, follow_ups.json, record sources (hand captures and Veritaset-dataset
records labelled), the US Mobile network cap as a fact.
