Compare electricity tariffs in Spain: 14 tariffs from 5 suppliers
Of the 5 fitting tariffs (out of 12 for this choice, from 5 suppliers), Precio fijo las 24h from Naturgy is the cheapest for 2,500 kWh with 4.6 kW contracted (30% peak, 25% mid, 45% off-peak) a year in mainland Spain: €589.93 a year, which works out at about €49.16 a month (yearly estimate), with network tolls and charges, before electricity tax and VAT, on a fixed price (prices read on Naturgy's own website (naturgy.es) on ). That amount is 2,500 kWh × €0.112 = €280.00 energy, 4.6 kW × (€0.12303 + €0.061562 per kW a day) × 365 days = €309.93 power term. We calculate it at the fixed energy price and the power term, with network tolls and charges, before electricity tax, VAT (IGIC in the Canary Islands) and meter rental. How long the price is fixed: not stated as a separate field. What happens after: “no guaranteed price period stated; regulated items (peajes, cargos, taxes, meter rental) pass through” (our note from the price card). Electricity tax, VAT (IGIC in the Canary Islands) and meter rental are added on the bill, at the same rates for every supplier.

How we calculate
Yearly use as you choose it, with the contracted power and the split between peak, mid and off-peak you choose; the split only counts for tariffs with three periods.
Prices before taxes, as the supplier states them, with network tolls and charges (peajes y cargos) included, over 12 months. Variable prices change; we do not forecast them.
Power term: contracted kW × (P1 price + P2 price per kW a day) × 365 days. A separate fixed fee is counted only when the supplier states one.
Not included: the special electricity tax, VAT (IGIC in the Canary Islands) and meter rental.
4 indexed or dynamic tariffs, the regulated PVPC among them, are in the table but not costed: they have no fixed price per kWh.
Gas tariffs are in the table; this page compares electricity.
No supplier pays for placement. The full rules: method.
